We are always told that we should write down our goals. I just know that there are lots of good reasons for me not to do that... but - here goes - in the interest of... clearing some room in my head for other things :)
MY GOALS FOR THIS YEAR (what is left of it and them!):
To finish scrapbooking my Mother's eight week holiday with us and send it down to her in Adelaide.
Plan a holiday for Auntie Linda come up and stay with us.

Design new office furniture for Neil - in reception and in his office. Research building materials; collect quotes; organize a builder; have the work completed and installed before June 30.
Design landscaping around Neil's office; collect quotes and organize machinery; purchase plants; coordinate deliveries of mulch etc. for a family work week-end 6th and 8th June, to have work completed by mid-June.
Purchase new cupboard and sliding doors for Neil's office; paint them; organize builder (or the boys) to hang them, before end of June.
Design and organize someone to build a wheelchair ramp up to the office veranda.
Lose weight and get fit, (2 hourly gym visits 3x week), partly in order to complete a 50k hike to celebrate my birthday at the end of August.
Babysit adorable grand-child for beautiful daughter Jessima once a week or so. Be available as much as possible. Have a grandchildren sleepover once a month (whenever Jenna's parents are ready).

Begin on some children's quiet books.
Learn how to redo my blog page.
Clean out Michael's room; repaint and re-decorate it as a spare bedroom/grandchildren's room/new room for Ben or Oliver/exercise room????
Spring-clean through the whole house - every cupboard, shelf, nook and cranny. Re-plaster and re-paint the garage ceiling; paint some of the internal walls.
Replace the garden shed; redo the foundation and clean everything out. Oversee wall and ceiling storm damage repairs. Get roof fixed.
Work out what to do about a new lounge suite. Fix up the old one? Again?
Make new floor cushion covers for Abby and for us.
Make alterations to Abby's black dress, temple dress and orange blouse before winter!
Weed, fertilize, spring tidy and planting - then spread 5 square metres mulch in the garden.

Organize all the photo and other folders on my computer.
Enjoy a monthly one-on-one activity with each of the children at home. See if the others would like a turn too :)
Socialize with old and new friends at least once a month - invite them over for dinner.
Help with catering etc. as required for the regional Priests/Laurels Ball on July 10.
Be cheerful, humble, kind, charitable, uncomplaining, hard-working and Christlike. (ok - that's a long term one.)
So!
In the spirit of Sister Marjorie Pay Hinckley who once said, “I have a new project to read one chapter a day from each of the standard works. I’ve been on it four days and I’m only three days behind" - that is my current list of goals!
(Please feel free to make further suggestions. If I have missed anything. :)
