Grandma's Birthday Sleep Fairy

These photos are from the birthday dinner we had for my mother the night before she left (with Neil and the twins) to return home to Adelaide. It was funny - by the end of the night only the grown-ups were standing! (Neil, me, Tammy and Grandma :) It was as if the sleep-dust fairy had come along and sneezed over all the kiddies. And it was not as if the dishes had not already been done! :)
ps I had a lovely Mothers' Day - thank you to our wonderful children! I am so grateful for each one of you and I am amazed at how blessed I am.
pps My sister Linda was here for dinner on Mothers' Day too, and made it into the quote book -
Bethany: Auntie Linda, are you schizophrenic?
Linda: It depends on who you're talking to...

  2. Mum,

Thank you for acknowledging my gigantinum efforts in staying awake that night. It was tough. But it was even tougher to see that the amazing example I was setting for all of the 'kiddies' was being ignored. *sigh* *sniff*

At least YOU appreciate me mum.

    :)

I'm glad you had a nice mothers day!

    xo Tammy

  6. Lol I didn't realise that had happened! I just got woken up and taken home at some stage - everyone else must have already left. I love that you put Tammy in as one of the grown ups - she will love that. I fell bad for Grandma! I hope she still had a lovely night. We love you Grandma! Mum we love you too, I hope your Mothers' Day was wonderful, even though the Sleep Fairy visited me that night too and you seemed to be giving a lot more than receiving that day!! xoxox Hope you're feeling better! Talk soon xo
